Connecting all generations to Jesus, His Word and each other; Reflecting His Love in Word and deed.
LUTHERAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP (LYF)
This is a Ministry for 9th - 12th grade youth and their families. Our ministry tries to provide a safe environment in which to have fun
while walking your faith journey with your Savior, Jesus Christ. In every activity we focus on creating a safe place to hang out and serve
in Christian love. Every month of the school year there is an event that you can participate in besides attending weekly Sunday School
and GAP. As an active member of this youth group you are required to participate in two service activities a year and help out with our
Peach Fundraiser.

For more information please contact the Director of Youth Ministry, Kaja Mueller by telephone at 338-5626 or by

LIVE NATIVITY
Sometimes known as "the church with the real animals at Christmas," our high school students have the opportunity to participate in
a live nativity. This living story attracts many members of our community and is a lot of fun! The live nativity will be hosted this year
on Sunday, December 13, at 3:30 p.m. For more information, contact Kaja Mueller.
Jan 29-30 LYF Winter Retreat:
THOU SHALL NOT MURDER "In your anger do not sin, do not let the sun go down
while you are still angry" Eph. 4:26.

As always, the winter retreat was a blast. Not only was it a lot of fun, but
we had very good discussions and got to know each other better while still
growing in our faith. We continued our tradition of playing sardines, and
Aaron joined us both nights to lead us in campfire songs-which we all love
a lot! Friday night we (well those who stayed awake!) watched the movie At
the End of the Spear and Saturday afternoon we went tubing at Brown Deer Golf
Course and followed with dinner at Old Country Buffett. Yet, we still had
bible study, devotions and discussion. We talked about the fifth commandment.
Not only its literal translation, but other things also: abortion, suicide,
euthanasia. Once again, another year and another great winter retreat!

December 2009 Live Nativity:

The LYF participated in the annual Live Nativity in December. We dressed up
as Wiseman, shepherds, angels, and Mary and Joseph. This year we had two
llamas, and a baby heifer for the shepherds to hold. It was lots of fun to
see the kids and parents and everyone enjoying watching us and having a good
time. After this cold winters night outside we came indoor to warm up, have
dinner and a Christmas Party. At our Christmas part we played games,
laughed, and exchanged gifts. The day was tons of fun and we got to praise
God doing it.
